Dr. Fruncillo has over 30 years experience in clinical practice and clinical research. He was formally the head of Wyeth's clinical research unit in Philadelphia PA, where he was principal investigator for over 200 research studies. In addition to a medical degree, Dr. Fruncillo has an undergraduate degree in chemistry, a Ph.D in pharmacology, and has completed graduate level courses in chemistry while an undergraduate. He has the extremely rare combination of certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology, and the American Board of Toxicology. Dr. Fruncillo has taught pharmacology and toxicology at Hahnemann University and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, and has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is the author or co-author of over 70 scientific publications and abstracts in the areas of drug interactions, drug overdose, pharmacokinetics, toxicology and pain management.
